Product Description

You may be modifying an existing Polytunnel, building your own Polytunnel from scratch or just need a replacement tube as part of your annual maintenance.

Steel Specification

25.4mm x 1.2mm Wall Diameter - Z35 High Tensile Galvanised
35.0mm x 1.5mm Wall Diameter - Z35 High Tensile Galvanised
50.8mm x 1.5mm Wall Diameter - Z35 High Tensile Galvanised
60.3mm x 1.5mm Wall Diameter - Z35 High Tensile Galvanised

The length of swage for each tube are as follows:

  • 25.4mm-51mm
  • 35.0mm-70mm
  • 50.8mm-83mm
  • 60.3mm-90mm

The OD of a swaged tube are as follows:

  • 25.4mm-22.0mm
  • 35.0mm-31.0mm
  • 50.8mm-46.8mm
  • 60.3mm-56.3mm

A 'Swaged' joint creates an OD that will fit our supplied tube 'Plain' and adds a nominal increase in the length of 2.5mm - Example a tube 100cm long (1000mm) with 'Swage Ends' at each end will result in a final length of 100½cm (1005mm). We can send a small sample of a swaged tube if you wish to check the OD of the swaged tube with material not sourced from ourselves.

Delivery

Delivery Lead Times

We are currently estimating that all Fruit Cages, Super Strength, and Garden Polytunnel orders will be despatched in 1-3 working days.

Polytunnel Accessories (including polytunnel covers) will be despatched in 1 -3 working days. 

Commercial polytunnels will be despatched in approximately 3- 5 working days. Please ask when ordering. 

Please note: Commercial Polytunnels require a forklift or adequate help to offload by hand. Please contact us should you wish to discuss this.

Greenhouses

With effect for all new greenhouse orders placed from the 6th of February 2023, the following lead times can be quoted on your website, display sites, and sales literature. 

  • Mill finish with Horti and toughened glass - 4-5 Weeks
  • Powder Coated Standards (Compact, Maxim, Streamline, Delta, Craftsman, High Eave, Strata, Vantage, Belmont) 8-10 Weeks for ALL colours
  • Powder Coated Specials (all other models - Titan, Lean To, Dwarf Walls, Edge, Zenith, Supreme, and Classique) 10-14 Weeks for ALL colours

Please Note  If you are buying online and paying by ClearAccept or PayPal. You will be charged the commission that we are charged by them for the transaction if for any reason the customer has to cancel.

  • Should you require a different length, or with a flattened end or ends?
  • A 'Flattened' joint creates a nominal loss in the length of 5mm - Example a tube 100cm long (1000mm) with 'Flattened Ends' at each end will result in a final length of 99cm (990mm). Flattened End for 60.3mm is not available.
