Product Description

About the Foundations 

Ground tubes for soil can be used when trenching the cover into the ground. They can also be used with a base rail but in such cases, it is recommended to concrete them in. Alternatively, anchor plates can be buried in the ground approximately 40cm deep, omitting the need for concrete. However, if you are in an exposed area, we recommend using the ground tubes for soil and concreting them in. Base plates for timber can be fixed to the top of timber, while base plates for concrete can be fixed to the top of a concrete pad.

Strengthening Options

To increase the strength of your polytunnel and make it more versatile, you can add two features. First, crop bars can be attached to the internal hoops of the tunnel, providing an additional 20% strength against snow and wind loads. They can also be used for hanging baskets or tying crops. Second, extra ridge bars can be added along the length of the tunnel, creating a total of three ridges. Like the crop bars, these can be useful for hanging baskets.

This kit includes: Galvanised Steelwork made from 25mm outside diameter tube, set of ground tubes for soil,  anti-hot spot tape, two door frames made from 75mm x 47mm treated timber, two Standard Single hinged doors and a SuperTherm cover with a 7yr guarantee.

Delivery Lead Times

We are currently estimating that all Fruit Cages, Super Strength, and Garden Polytunnel orders will be despatched in 1-3 working days.

Polytunnel Accessories (including polytunnel covers) will be despatched in 1 -3 working days. 

Commercial polytunnels will be despatched in approximately 3- 5 working days. Please ask when ordering. 

Please note: Commercial Polytunnels require a forklift or adequate help to offload by hand. Please contact us should you wish to discuss this.

  • Powder Coated Standards (Compact, Maxim, Streamline, Delta, Craftsman, High Eave, Strata, Vantage, Belmont) 8-10 Weeks for ALL colours
  • Powder Coated Specials (all other models - Titan, Lean To, Dwarf Walls, Edge, Zenith, Supreme, and Classique) 10-14 Weeks for ALL colours
